Create a Task


The Task module is recreated for a better user experience. Packed with new and improved features that will make your task management much more comfortable and informative.


Without navigating much, you can create a task directly from the Client’s detail page, Partner’s detail page, and Application detail page. You can also select a task category to make it more specific and set task priority so that assignee can understand the urgency of the task.


There is more!


You can also add multiple followers for a single task. The follower in the task is that user, to whom the task is made accessible: to view, make changes, or process. The follower would be able to track down and process any activity that is performed on the task even if the client/application related to that task is not accessible.


Follow the given steps to add a new task.


Step 1 - Click on the Quick Add Button.


Step 2 - Select the Task option.


Step 3 - As the Create New Task slider appears, add task Title.


Step 4 - Select the task Category, whether it is a meeting, call, follow up or other.


Step 5 - Set the Priority to decide which task needs to be done first.


Step 6 - Select a team member to assign the task.


Step 7 - Set the task Due Date to get reminders both in email and in-system.


Step 8 - Set Task Due Time.


Step 9 - Set a reminder of a task:

1. Notification ChannelNotificationEmail or Both

2. Duration

3. Duration TypeMinutesHours, or Days


(To create a more informative task)


Step 10 - Click on the More Options drop-down arrow.


Step 11 - Add the task Description if you need to let the assignee know more about the task.


Related to Internal:-

Step 12 - Select one of the given options to identify whom the task is related to. (Internal)


Step 13 - Select the Follower if needed because the follower is a team member who will get access to the task along with the assignee.


Step 14 - Add any document is supporting the task from the Attachment section as shown in the image below.


Step 15 - Now, click on the Create button.



Related to Contact:-

Step 16 - Select one of the given options to identify whom the task is related to. (Contact)


Step 17 - Select the related Contact from the drop-down list.


Step 18 - Select the Follower if needed because the follower is a team member who will get access to the task along with the assignee.


Step 19 - Add any document which is supporting the task from the Attachment section as shown in the image below.


Step 20 - Now, click on the Create button.


Related to Partner:-

Step 16 - Select one of the given options to identify whom the task is related to. (Partner)


Step 17 - Select the related Partner.


Step 18 - Select the Follower if needed because the follower is a team member who will get access to the task along with the assignee.


Step 19- Add any document which is supporting the task from the Attachment section as shown in the image below.


Step 20 - Now, click on the Create button.


Related to Application:-

Step 16 - Select one of the given options to identify whom the task is related to. (Application)


Step 17 - Select the associated Client.


Step 18 - Select the client's Application.


Step 19 - Now, select Application Stage.


Step 20 - Select the Follower if needed because the follower is a team member who will get access to the task along with the assignee.


Step 21 - Add any document that supports the task from the Attachment section as shown in the image below.


Step 22 - Now, click on the Create button.
