Ensure you have:
A Facebook account
Access to Meta Business Manager (if not, create one)
Admin access to the Business Manager
A new or unused phone number
Must not already be registered on WhatsApp Messenger or WhatsApp Business App
Ability to receive SMS or voice call
A valid payment method (credit/debit card)
Go to business.facebook.com and log in with your Facebook account.
Click Create Account.
Enter your Business Name, Your Name, and Business Email.
Click Next and fill in Business Details (address, phone number, website).
Click Submit.
In Meta Business Manager, go to Business Settings → Business Portfolio.
Click Create Portfolio.
Enter a Portfolio Name and select the Business Manager it belongs to.
Assign Admins if needed.
Click Save.
The Business Portfolio is required when connecting WhatsApp to Agentcis.
In Business Settings, navigate to Accounts → WhatsApp Accounts.
Click Add.
Select Create a New WhatsApp Business Account.
Assign the account to the Business Portfolio created earlier.
This account is automatically set up for the WhatsApp Business Platform (API) required by Agentcis.
Enter your Business Details.
Add a new or unused phone number.
Choose SMS or Voice Call to receive the verification code.
Enter the verification code to complete the process.
Important:
The number becomes API-only.
It cannot be used on the WhatsApp mobile app.

In WhatsApp Manager, go to Billing → Payment Settings.
Add a valid credit/debit card.
Required to send business-initiated messages.
Go to Security Center → Business Verification in Meta Business Manager.
Complete the verification process.
Verification increases messaging limits and ensures long-term account stability.
All business-initiated messages must use pre-approved message templates.
Templates must be submitted and approved in Meta WhatsApp Manager before sending via Agentcis.
User-initiated messages (replies from clients) do not require templates.
Log in to Agentcis.
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp.
Click Connect WhatsApp.
Log in using the same Facebook account used in Meta Business Manager.
Select:
Business Manager
Business Portfolio
WhatsApp Account
Phone Number
Complete the connection.
Send a test message from Agentcis to a client using an approved message template.
Verify it appears in WhatsApp Manager and Agentcis.
Assign the chat to an agent to ensure multi-agent functionality works.
Create Facebook account → Meta Business Manager → Business Portfolio → WhatsApp Manager.
Add a new phone number → Verify → Add payment.
Submit message templates for approval.
Connect the WhatsApp account to Agentcis.
Once complete, your team can manage messages, automate notifications, and track conversations directly from Agentcis.
