Each product you offer generates revenue differently. In Agentcis, you can manage and track these variations by choosing the correct Revenue Type for each product. This is a crucial setting that affects how the Product Fee Table and Sales Forecast behave within the system.
There are two main types of revenue supported in Agentcis:
Commission From Partner
Revenue from Client.
When the Revenue Type of a product is set to Commission from Partner, Agentcis provides two additional fields in the Product Fee pop-up:
Claimable Terms
Commission %
These fields help you accurately manage your agency’s expected revenue from the partner institution.
What Are These Fields?
Claimable Terms
This refers to the number of installments (terms) for which the partner pays you a commission.
For example, if a course has 6 semesters, but the institution only pays commission for the first 4, the Claimable Terms would be 4.
Commission %
This is the percentage of the fee that the partner agrees to pay your agency as commission.
It is automatically pulled from the Partner’s commission settings but can be adjusted manually (if you have the necessary permissions).
Don’t See These Fields?
If Claimable Terms and Commission % are not visible in your Product Fee pop-up:
It means your system administrator has not granted you access to view or edit these fields.
You might have selected the Revenue type as Revenue from Client in the product fee.
Example:
Let’s say you’re adding product fees for the Bachelor of IT course at Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT).
MIT offers a 20% commission for the first 4 semesters only.
The total course duration is 6 semesters.
When adding the product fees:
Set Claimable Terms to 4
Set Commission % to 20
So, if the fee per semester is $5,000, your expected commission is:
$5,000 x 20% x 4 terms = $4,000
Agentcis will use this information to automatically calculate the Sales Forecast, giving you better insight into future earnings.
Summary
| Field Description |
