How is the Sales forecast calculated?

Sales Forecast includes Partner Revenue, Client Revenue, Discounts, and Net Revenue.

For Commission from Partners, it calculates commission based on the product fees, claimable terms, commission percentage, and the input amount in Partner Revenue. 

Partner Revenue = Product Fee per installment X Claimable Terms X Commission %

For Revenue from Client, it adds up all the income and input amount in Client Revenue, it will ignore the payables from the Product Fee section.

Client Revenue = Sum of Product Fee marked as Income

If there is a discount record in the Product Fee section, it will also add the total discount in the Discount section.

For the calculation of the sales forecast, the revenue type has to be set in the product fee. Follow the following steps to set the revenue type in the product fee
Step 1: Select Partner from the dashboard Select the partner from the list for whose application is the sales forecast to be calculated.

Step 2: Select the partner from the list for whose application is the sales forecast to be calculated.

Note: You have to turn off the auto-sync toggle to edit the partner and product.

Step 3: Select Product from the partner profile and select a product from the list.

Step 4: Select a product from the product list and select the fee option from the partner profile.

Step 5: Select the edit option

Step 6: Edit the details. Also, Set the claimable terms and commission percentage in case of commission from partner

In the case of Revenue from Client, select the option income from the dropdown as in the screenshot below

Step 7: Select Update

Step 8: Select Client from the dashboard

Step 9: Select a client from the list of the client

Step 10: From the client profile select Application

Step11: Select Add and add application

Step 12: The sales forecast will be calculated automatically and will be shown on the application detail page based on the Revenue(i.e. Revenue from client or commission from partner), commission percentage, and claimable term set in the product.

Step 13: You may also edit the sales forecast if required. For this please select the edit option in the application detail page on the left bottom corner.

Note: The product fee can also be edited from the client application detail page by selecting edit option under product fee on the left bottom corner.(on the basis of the product fee details the sales forecast will be edited automatically)
